Training
Programs
The
LIUNA member and service contract employee are the primary reason SCETT Fund
was created. The Board of Trustees of SCETT Fund determined that employees
in the service contract industry needed training for the efficient and
safe performance of their jobs. These jobs include the operation and maintenance
of equipment, the handling of food products, the identification of hazardous
materials, and the identification and implementation of job-specific safety
and health rules to name a few.
SCETT Fund TRAINING CATEGORIES
ON-THE-JOB TRAINING (OJT) - uses actual hands-on situations that allow
employees to directly relate to their assignment.
CLASSROOM
- Training includes visual aids such as video tape presentations,
demonstrations, discussions and more.
THIRD PARTY
- Training is conducted by individuals outside of the service contract
industry.
